RELATIVISTIC QUARK-MODEL PREDICTIONS FOR
THE TRANSVERSITY AMPLITUDES
P. Kielanowski and M. Kupczynski, Nuclear
Physics B29 (1971) 504-514
The relations between the transversity
amplitudes following from the relativistic
quark model for high-energy and small-angle scattering are obtained.
Quark Model Predictions for the
Transversity Amplitudes
M. Kupczyński, Acta Phys. Pol.
B 1, 301 (1970)
A simple derivation of the quark model relations between the transversity amplitudes is given.
The
problem of the choice of the spin reference frame in which the additivity
assumption holds is discussed
. It is shown that all these quark model relations can be obtained from
some simple geometrical postulates.
Generalized Statistical Tensors and
Their Applications
P. Kielanowski, M. Kupczyński, Acta Phys. Pol. B 2, 191 (1971)
Measurable
quantities, called generalized statistical tensors, which are functions of the
reaction amplitudes, are introduced and investigated. Their
role in the full experimental check of theoretical predictions between the
amplitudes Is discussed. As
an example the polarizations predictions following from the additivity
assumption in the quark model are investigated.
On the Generalized Saletan
Contractions
M.Kupczynski, Commun. math. Phys.
13, 154-—162 (1969)
Lie
algebra contractions are important in physics. The generalized Saletan contractions leaving some subalgebra
unchanged are investigated.
Using
a simple basis we derive the necessary and sufficient conditions for these
contractions and the brackets of the contracted algebra which
are expressed by the structure constants of the
algebra to be contracted. Many basis independent results are derived. Some of them give as
a special case Saletan results
.
